We're comfortable on the sites other contractors decline. Steep, tight, awkward access is normal in Titirangi, the North Shore hill suburbs and plenty of West Auckland streets, and we've got the machinery and the experience to work on them safely.

We plan cut and fill together to keep your costs down. Every cubic metre we can reuse on site is a truck movement you don't pay for twice, and on a decent-sized levelling job that adds up fast.

We also flag the retaining requirement early. Cutting into a slope creates a face that has to be held up by something, and knowing that at the quoting stage rather than mid-job means you can budget for the whole project properly.

We compact filled ground in layers, and we don't shortcut it. Fill that's tipped and spread rather than built up and compacted will settle for years, which shows up as a sagging lawn, cracked paving or worse if you've built on it.

The finished grade gets set with water in mind. A perfectly flat backyard sounds ideal until it holds every drop of rain that lands on it, so we build in a subtle fall that keeps water moving away from the house.

And we think about your neighbours. Cutting or filling near a boundary changes where water goes and how stable the ground is on both sides, so we work out those effects before the machine starts rather than after someone complains.
