Our Concrete Driveway Repair Process
Repairing a driveway properly means fixing what caused the damage, not just filling what you can see. Here is how our local contractors work through it.
Diagnosis — we work out why the driveway is failing, whether that is base settlement, drainage, tree roots or simple age.
Honest assessment — we tell you whether a repair is worth doing or whether replacement is the better use of your money.
Base repair — where the ground under the slab has moved, that gets dealt with first, since surface work over a bad base fails again.
Crack and joint repair — cracks are cut out, cleaned and filled with a product matched to the width and the movement involved.
Levelling and section replacement — sunken slabs are lifted or cut out and re-poured to match the surrounding levels.
Resurfacing and finishing — spalled surfaces are resurfaced and joints re-cut so the repair blends in rather than standing out.
