We start with how you'll actually use the space. A patio sized for a table you already own, positioned where the afternoon sun lands, and sheltered from the prevailing wind gets used constantly. One that ignores those things becomes a slab you walk across.

We handle the whole build rather than just the surface. Excavation, drainage, base, surfacing, steps and edging all come from one crew, which is the difference between a patio that ties into your deck and driveway properly and one that clearly arrived later.

We're also straight with you about materials. Concrete, pavers, exposed aggregate and tile all behave differently underfoot, in the wet, and over ten years, and the cheapest option today isn't always the cheapest overall.

Drainage gets designed into the patio, not added after someone notices the puddle. Every hard surface you add is water that used to soak into the ground and now has to go somewhere, and on Auckland clay that somewhere needs deciding in advance.

We pay attention to the junctions — where the patio meets the house, the deck, the lawn and the paths. Those transitions are the difference between an outdoor area that feels designed and one that feels assembled.

And we build in the extras while the machinery is on site. Steps, seating walls, planter edges, conduit for outdoor lighting — all of it is dramatically cheaper to do during the build than to retrofit next summer.
